Gregg Sturdevant enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1975 and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1979. He returned to school and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1982, and was commissioned in the Marine Corps. He currently serves as a United States Marine Corps Brigadier General.
