The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Army Distinguished Service Medal to Lieutenant Colonel of Infantry Henri E. Rozet, French Army, for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States, during World War I, while serving with the 3d Bureau, French Army. Lieutenant Colonel Rozet was tireless in his efforts to keep the American Mission at French General Headquarters informed on all matters of importance to it, rendering very valuable services to the American Expeditionary Forces; he at all times afforded us most loyal cooperation, proving unflagging in his devotion to our interests. He displayed military attainments of a high order and gave us valuable advice in times of emergency.
