The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Army Distinguished Service Medal to Lieutenant General Harry Jungbluth, Belgian Army, for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States, during World War I. As Adjutant General, Chief of the Military Household of the King, General Jungbluth occupied with distinction one of the most important offices in the Belgian Army. He displayed the highest military attainments and his sound advice was of inestimable value in the prosecution of the war against the enemy.
