The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Army Distinguished Service Medal to Lieutenant General Conte Alberico Albricci, Italian Army, for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States, during World War I. As Commander of the 2d Italian Army Corps in France, General Albricci rendered services of great distinction to the allied cause. Later, as Minister of War, he showed a keen spirit of cooperation with the American forces in Italy, assisting by all means at the disposal of his extensive office. He has given services of great value to the American Expeditionary Forces.
