(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pride in presenting the Silver Star (Posthumously) to Private First Class Eril R. Mock, United States Army, for heroism not involving actual conflict with an enemy of the United States while serving with while serving with the 119th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division, in the European Theater of Operations, in 1944 and 1945. The exemplary courage and heroism displayed by Private First Class Mock reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
