Baker (ASN: 15301014), United States Army Air Forces, for heroism not involving actual conflict with an enemy of the United States in 1945 and 1946. The exemplary courage and heroism displayed by Private Baker, without regard for his own life, were in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army Air Forces.
