(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting the Soldier’s Medal to Chief Warrant Officer Floyd C. Baptista (AFSN: AW-2200642), United States Army Air Forces, for heroism not involving actual conflict with an enemy of the United States in 1955 and 1956. The exemplary courage and heroism displayed by Chief Warrant Officer Baptista, without regard for his own life, were in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army Air Forces.
