Daniel Dailey began military service in 1989 as an Army Infantry Officer. A veteran of combat duty in Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, he was awarded the Bronze Star with Combat ÒVÓ during the Siege of Sadr City. At age 42, in January 2015 Daniel Dailey was appointed the FIFTEENTH Command Sergeant Major of the Army. He is the youngest person ever to hold that position.
