Frank Grass enlisted in the Missouri Army National Guard in 1969, and served for 12 years as an enlisted Guardsman before receiving his commission through OCS in 1981. He served from 2004 to 2006 as Deputy Director of the Army National Guard. As a 4-Star General, he is the 27th Chief of the National Guard Bureau.
