The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, 20 July 1942, takes pleasure in presenting the Legion of Merit to Colonel (Medical Corps) Thomas W. Inmon, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States from July 1958 to August 1965. [This award supersedes award of the Army Commendation Medal awarded to Colonel Inmon for meritorious service from July 1961 to June 1963, as announced in General Orders Number 324, Headquarters, United States Army, Europe, dated 8 November 1963.]
