Cole (ASN: 0-29848), United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States from June 1952 to December 1962. [This award supersedes award of the Army Commendation Medal (First Oak Leaf Cluster) for meritorious service from 7 June 1954 to 4 February 1957, as announced in General Orders Number 13, Headquarters Military Assistance Advisory Group, Japan, dated 8 February 1957.]
