Brazil, United States Army, for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight on 4 October 1962. [This award supersedes award of the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious achievement on 4 October 1962 as announced in General Orders Number 8, Headquarters U. S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, dated 4 February 1963.]
