Louis Storck graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Class of 1923. He was killed in action while serving as a U.S. Army Colonel during World War II. His son by the same name graduated from the Academy in 1951 and was killed in action in the Korean War, also earning a posthumous Silver Star.
