Headquarters, 30th Infantry Division, General Orders No. 122 (December 14, 1944)

The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Silver Star to Private First Class Everett T. Robson (ASN: 39683887), United States Army, for gallantry in action while serving with the 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division, in action against the enemy on 16 July 1944, in France. Private First Class Robson distinguished himself at the risk of his life when he left the comparative safety of his covered position and crawled fifty yards to a wounded man. After he had carried his fellow soldier to a safer position, he administered first aid so effectively that Private First Class Robson is credited with saving the life of his comrade. The gallant actions and dedicated devotion to duty demonstrated by Private First Class Robson, without regard for his own life, were in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
