When the advance of the battalion was being threatened by two enemy tanks, Lieutenant Kahapea with daring initiative organized two anti-tank rocket launcher squads, approached to within short range of the tanks and damaged both of them with well directed fire. They were compelled to withdraw and the advance was continued.
