(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Chief Warrant Officer Clifton P. Wolcott, United States Army, was awarded the Silver Star for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action while serving as Pilot of a Helicopter in Company D, 1st Battalion, 160th Special Operations Regiment (Airborne), during Operation DESERT STORM in the Persian Gulf. The gallant actions and superb skill demonstrated by Chief Warrant Officer Wolcott on this occasion was in keeping with the highest traditions of the military forces of the United States and reflects great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
