The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, 20 July 1942, takes pleasure in presenting a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Second Award of the Legion of Merit to Colonel (Signal Corps) Frank Glover Trew (ASN: 0-15711), United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States with the Signal Section, Fort Monroe, from May 1946 to February 1947. (So much of par. 1, sec. V, General Orders 19, Department of the Army, 1947, as pertains to the award of the Army Commendation Ribbon to Colonel Trew, for service during the same period, is rescinded.)
