Padua (ASN: 10300709), United States Army, for gallantry in action as a member of Headquarters and Headquarters Service Company, 12th Medical Battalion (Philippine Scouts), in action on 26 April 1942, at Corregidor, Philippine Islands. During heavy artillery fire, Private Padua courageously administered first aid to wounded soldiers at Middle Side Barracks and evacuated them under shell fire without regard for his personal safety.
