The President of the United States of America, authorized by Executive Order 11046, 24 August 1962, takes pleasure in presenting the Bronze Star Medal to Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey C. Garrott, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious service while serving as Deputy Director, Iraq Commercialization Division from 13 August 2007 to 20 June 2008. Lieutenant Colonel Garrott supervised commercialization projects with value in excess of $50 million in support to the warfighters. His successful efforts at coordination and liaison with supported commands, local operations, and maintenance command were instrumental in future communication requirements for the command. His outstanding performance in support of Global War on Terrorism reflects great credit upon himself, the 335th Signal Command (Theater) (Provisional), and the United States Army.
