(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pride in presenting the Silver Star (Posthumously) to Sergeant Anthony Louis Langone (ASN: RA-11180898), United States Army, for gallantry in connection with military operations against an opposing armed force in Korea while serving with Company L, 3d Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, in Korea on or about 15 September 1950. His gallant actions and dedicated devotion to duty, without regard for his own life, were in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army.
