Eggleston (ASN: 0-30271), United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States from June 1963 to September 1964. [This award was revoked and upgraded to the Army Distinguished Service Medal under Department of the Army, General Orders No. 2 (1966).]
