(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant Chisholm Cutts, Australian Imperial Force, was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action while serving with the Australian Imperial Force, in action in the Papuan Campaign in New Guinea in 1942. His gallant actions and dedicated devotion to duty, without regard for his own life, were in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit, and the Military Service.
