The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Second Award of the Silver Star to Sergeant Robert L. Bryan, United States Army, for gallantry in action while engaged in military operations in the Republic of Vietnam, on 11 June 1970. His actions, without regard for his own safety, reflect great credit on himself and the Armed Forces of the United States.
