(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain [then First Lieutenant] Sindolfo C. Bauzon, Philippine Army, was awarded the Silver Star for gallantry in action against the enemy while serving with the 21st Division (Philippine Scouts), in the Philippine Islands in 1942.

The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Second Award of the Silver Star to Captain [then First Lieutenant] Sindolfo C. Bauzon, Philippine Army, for gallantry in action against the enemy while serving with the 21st Division, Philippine Scouts, in action against the enemy at Abo-Abo River, Bataan, on 10 January 1942.
