Leonard Clark (ASN: 1393521), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, American Expeditionary Forces, for gallantry in action and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the Victory Medals awarded him. Sergeant Clark distinguished himself by gallantry in action while serving with Company C, 108th Engineer Regiment, 33d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, in action near Consenvoye, France, 8 October 1918, in making a reconnaissance under heavy artillery and machine gun fire.
