Boudreau (ASN: 1048949), United States Army, is cited by the Commanding General, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, and a silver star may be placed upon the ribbon of the World War I Victory Medals awarded him. Private Boudreau, on duty as truck driver with Headquarters, 3d Field Artillery Brigade, 3d Division, American Expeditionary Forces, on the afternoon of 5 October 1918, at Montfaucon, France, used his truck in which he was hauling rations to tow ammunition trucks, disabled by shell fire, along a road which was being subjected to heavy gas and high explosive shell fire, to battery positions at extreme risk to his own life.
