The President of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Legion of Merit to Captain James Morris Faddis (NSN: 0-38953), United States Navy, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service as Director, Military Assistance Program Directorate, United States Military Assistance Command, Thailand/Joint United States Military Advisory Group, Thailand, from June 1971 to June 1974.
