First Lieutenant Tuori remained at his duties after being injured when his aircraft was hit by heavy flak. He completed the bomb run and then navigated the crippled bomber back to friendly territory. The gallant actions and dedicated devotion to duty demonstrated by First Lieutenant Tuori, without regard for his own life, were in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army Air Forces.
