Kevin Chilton graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado, Class of 1976. He spent 11 years of his military career as a NASA astronaut and is the first Astronaut to reach 4-Star rank. He retired in 2011 as a U.S. Air Force 4-Star General.
