McCaslin (NSN: 0-354655), United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as Co-Pilot of a Navy airplane in Patrol Bombing Squadron ONE HUNDRED THIRTY (VPB-130) in the Pacific area from 7 November 1944 to 2 February 1945.
