The President of the United States of America takes pride in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) to Aviation Machinist’s Mate First Class Leo Everett Brown (NSN: 6564117), United States Naval Reserve, for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight in the China area from 18 February 1945 to 24 May 1945.
