(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant Commander Martin Joseph Sullivan (NSN: 0-589276), United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while leading a flight of four flak-suppressor aircraft to the Tam Da highway and railroad bridge, an important link in the transportation of supplies and armament between the northern supply depots and Vinh, North Vietnam, on 5 February 1967.
