The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pleasure in presenting the Medal of Honor to Sergeant Bernhard Jetter, United States Army, for distinguished bravery on December, 1890, while serving with Company K, 7th U.S. Cavalry, in action during the Sioux Campaign in South Dakota.
