Sisley, United States Marine Corps, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Deputy Chief of Staff for Training, Headquarters, United States Marine Corps; and subsequently as the Director, Training and Education Center, MCCDC, Quantico, Virginia, during the period from August 1986 through August 1988.
