David Scott graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Class of 1954. As a NASA Astronaut, he participated as co-pilot of Gemini VIII, the 1st docking of 2 vehicles in space, and the first manned lunar flight module, and as Commander of Apollo XV. He retired as a U.S. Air Force Colonel.
