[This award supersedes so much of General Orders Number 5, Headquarters, Fitzsimons Army Hospital, dated 31 January 1957, as pertains to the previous award of the Army Commendation Medal (Second Oak Leaf Cluster) for meritorious service during the period 10 January 1952 to 10 January 1957 and General Orders Number 28, Headquarters, Tripler U.S. Army Hospital, dated 27 November 1959, as pertains to the previous award of the Army Commendation Medal (Third Oak Leaf Cluster) for meritorious service during the period 17 March 1957 to 27 November 1959 to Colonel Turner.]
