Edgar Wright graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Class of 1929. After the fall of the Philippine Islands in World War II, he worked from 1942 to 1945 with the Philippine Guerilla resistance. He retired in 1959 as a U.S. Army Colonel.
