H. Norman Schwarzkopf graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Class of April 1917. He retired as a U.S. Army Major General. He was the first superintendent of the New Jersey State Police and is best known for his involvement in the Lindbergh kidnapping case. He was the father of General Norman SchwarzkopfJr., the commander of all Coalition forces for Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
