COAST GUARD MEDAL RECIPIENTS

Established in 1949, the Coast Guard Medal holds the same level of prominence as the Soldier's Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Medal, and Airman’s Medal. It is awarded for heroic actions in a non-combat situation or setting.
