Fuller (ASN: 0-1286112), United States Army, for gallantry in action while serving with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2d Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, in action against the enemy in Sicily. During July and August 1943. When his battalion motor pool was subjected to intense artillery fire, Lieutenant Fuller left a place of comparative safety, remained under heavy fire in the motor pool, and directed the swift and successful removal of vehicles.
