Brown (ASN: 34400422), United States Army, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in connection with military operations against the enemy while serving with the 9th Infantry Division during the period on 13 March 1945, during operations in Germany. His gallantry and disregard for personal safety reflects highest credit upon himself and the Armed Forces of the United States.
