Roland Cinciarelli enlisted in the Army after graduating from high school in 1947, and subsequently graduated from Presbyterian College, Clinton, South Carolina after fulfilling his Army enlistment. Subsequently commissioned in the Marine Corps, he retired as a U.S. Marine Corps Brigadier General.
