(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Service Medal (Air Force) to Lieutenant General Bryant Le Maire Boatner (AFSN: 362A), United States Air Force, for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished services to the Government of the United States, in a duty of great responsibility, culminating as The Inspector General of the Air Force, and subsequently as Chief of Staff, Materiel, Headquarters, U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C., from 1952 to 1955. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Lieutenant General Boatner culminate a long and distinguished career in the service of his country and his dedicated contributions reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
