(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross to Sergeant-Chef Dominique Taddei, Army of France, for extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an armed enemy while serving with the 7th R. T. A., French Expeditionary Corps, in action against enemy forces during the attack on Mouna Casabe, Italy, on 12 January 1944. Sergeant-Chef Taddei’s outstanding accomplishments, personal bravery and zealous devotion to duty exemplify the highest traditions of the Armed Forces of the Allied Nations.
