(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross to Lieutenant Colonel Emmanuel Louis Langlet, Army of France, for extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an armed enemy while serving with 4th Regiment de Tirailleurs Marocains, French Army, in action against enemy forces in France, on 5 and 6 September 1944. Lieutenant Colonel Langlet’s outstanding accomplishments, personal bravery and zealous devotion to duty exemplify the highest traditions of the Armed Forces of the Allied Nations.
