Steven Gonzales, Andrew Ramirez, and Andrew Stone were captured while serving with the Troop B, 1st Battalion, 4th Cavalry Regiment, as part of a peacekeeping NATO force in Kosovo. They were released after Reverend Jesse Jackson personally visited with Yugoslavian officials to negotiate their return.
