The President of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Bronze Star Medal with Combat “V” to Captain William Kerr Angus (MCSN: 0-106720), United States Marine Corps, for meritorious service while interned as a Prisoner of War in Southeast Asia from June 1972 to March 1973. Displaying extraordinary courage, resourcefulness, and ingenuity, Captain Angus conducted himself strictly in accordance with the Code of Conduct and the policies of the prisoner organization. By his diligent efforts under most difficult conditions, he resisted their routine cruelties. Through steadfast determination and professionalism, he clearly demonstrated his devotion to the United States.
