The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, 20 July 1942, takes pleasure in presenting the Legion of Merit to Colonel Harry D. Callicotte, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States, in positions of increasing responsibility, culminating a 40-year career as the Chief of the Functional Specialties Team, 350th Civil Affairs Command. Colonel Callicotte’s contributions, hard work, professionalism, and inspirational leadership contributed to successful mission accomplishment during his entire military career. Upon retirement, Colonel Callicotte is recognized for distinguished performance of duty that represents exemplary service in the finest traditions of the United States Army.
