(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Colonel Thomas Parker Corwin, United States Air Force, was awarded a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster in lieu of a Second Award of the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Assistant Vice Commander of the Air Force Systems Command from 1961 to 1962, for his effective management of resources in the Systems Command’s nuclear and space programs. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Colonel Corwin and his dedicated contributions in the service of his country reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
