(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Brigadier General John Wilson Baska, United States Air Force, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Assistant Deputy Director for Tactical and Transport Forces, and as Executive Officer for the Directorate of Operations, Headquarters, U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C., from February 1963 to June 1964. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of General Baska and his dedicated contributions in the service of his country reflect the highest credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
